Nurse Practitioner - Traveling (Licensed in Texas)

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Travel for multiple 2-to-3-month assignments in Texas  to provide specialty care at skilled nursing facilities. Travel expenses (mileage, fuel, meals, lodging ) will be reimbursed by the company.
  • Work with Physical Medicine and Rehab physicians to develop care plans and treatment recommendations for pain management and the improvement of functional and behavioral health in the geriatric populations.
  • Continue to receive full pay and benefits while on standby for other assignments.

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Empathy and a genuine interest in providing care for a geriatric population
  • APRN Texas license. New grads and experienced providers both welcome.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as you will interact with many team members at the company and partnering skilled nursing facilities.
  • Bonus points:
    • Post-acute care experience either in a nursing home or acute rehab setting.
    • Specialty certification in Gerontology

Anticipated Salary Range

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $180,000 and $200,000 USD annually. All team members also receive a stock-option grant. The exact salary will depend on (1) how many years of relevant and transferable experience the candidate brings to the role and (2) the internal level at which the candidate is hired in relation to our career development framework.

Practitioners at Lightyear Health are responsible for meeting and complying with our credentialing verifications processes, clinical standards, health screenings, and immunization requirements at all times. It is the responsibility of the practitioner to ensure that your licenses, certifications, and credentials are kept up to date and in good standing.
