Director of Advanced Practitioners

Lightyear Health is looking for a Director of Advanced Practitioners to hire, onboard and provide continuous training for teams of advanced practitioners. You'll create and oversee training and development programs to help new & existing advanced practitioners obtain and hone the skills they need to be highly effective and support Lightyear Health’s overall mission to change what it means to age. Lightyear Health is a tech-enabled healthcare company with a mission to improve access to high-quality patient care for seniors. 

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Hire, train, and onboard teams of advanced practitioners (APPs) to provide Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) focused care in congregate settings for aging patients
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and overarching people management so that front-line APPs continuously uplevel their skillset and contribution
  • In partnership with the VP of Clinical Care, manage our PM&R provider academy so that new hires quickly amass the skills they need to be effective

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Exceptional people management skills, with high aptitude for leaning into our approach (e.g. investing in relationships, building great teams, and driving results)
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Experience with teaching and learning (e.g. organizing, planning, and executing on engaging internal training)
  • High degree of adaptability (e.g. knows how to navigate changing environment, stays nimble, communicates within and across teams to great effect)
  • Demonstrated track record of providing autonomous efficient, metrics-driven, high-quality care for complex patients
  • 5+ years of direct patient care experience
  • NP or PA credential from a credible association

Anticipated Salary Range

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $140,000 and $160,000 USD annually. All team members also receive a stock option grant. The exact salary will depend on (1) how many years of relevant and transferable experience the candidate brings to the role and (2) the internal level at which the candidate is hired in relation to our career development framework.
