Remote Supervising PM&R Physician - Licensed in Michigan

Remote, Michigan, United States

Lightyear Health is looking to partner with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physicians to contribute to our company’s growth and expansion. Our Physician contractors build their own schedules and determine when and how they work as they lead our clinical practice and team of APPs in their respective geographies. These roles are a great opportunity to grow your influence and income while you maintain the flexibility your schedule requires.

We are a healthcare technology startup that is changing what it means for patients to function optimally by delivering accessible, proactive PM&R consultative services in SNF settings. Our clinical team collaborates with individuals, families, and caregivers to design personalized care plans that address the holistic needs of each patient.

We are looking for entrepreneurial Physiatrists who are interested in post-acute care and our mission to move healthcare forward together.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Supervise, train, and develop a dedicated team of APPs to deliver high-quality care in an evolving novel delivery model
  • Conduct in person and telemedicine visits for narcotic prescriptions, complicated rehab patients and APP training
  • Contribute to the growth within our SNF partners and across relevant geographies

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Commitment to team-based care philosophy- you enjoy teaching and working collaboratively with APPs as we improve the quality of life of patients in the post-acute space
  • Interested in new healthcare delivery models that achieve outstanding clinical results while decreasing provider burnout
  • Thought leader and influencer in your field of medicine
  • Recent acute inpatient rehab or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience, ideally post-residency training

Anticipated Hourly Rate:

We offer a revenue sharing model and anticipate that this position has the potential to earn $125k-250k+ annually, with earnings influenced by your ability to grow and strengthen the clinical practice in your geography (including number of APPs, their overall productivity, your onsite supervision, SNF partnerships, etc).

Vaccinations & Credentials

Our vaccination policy for all clinical staff aligns with CDC's guidelines, including the Covid-19 vaccine and booster. Practitioners at Lightyear Health are responsible for meeting and complying with our credentialing verifications processes, clinical standards, health screenings, and vaccination policies at all times. It is the responsibility of the practitioner to ensure that your licenses, certifications, and credentials are kept up to date and in good standing.
