Everyone deserves access to quality healthcare and aging populations are no exception, especially with their complex and ever-changing needs. I’ve watched my relatives navigate the healthcare system as they’ve aged and I firmly believe it doesn’t have to be so difficult. I’m excited to help change that however I can.
As a Senior Recruiter, I focus on filling our clinical and corporate needs so that our teams can do their important work. I also work on strategic initiatives to ensure we are consistently attracting high-caliber candidates and providing them with a world-class interview experience.
Post-undergrad, I worked at a few different non-profits in New York City that focused on underserved populations, such as senior citizens, formerly homeless people, and people living with mental illnesses. I quickly realized that I enjoyed working with and helping others but wanted a more systematic way to do so, which led me to talent acquisition. I spent four years hiring teachers and operational staff at Success Academy Charter Schools before transitioning to Policygenius, a fintech startup focused on revolutionizing the insurance space. In my three years at Policygenius, I helped scale the company from 130 to 700+, including overseeing hiring for an entirely new product vertical.
My time in social services taught me that I do my best work when I feel a connection to an organization’s mission and I’m excited to bring that to Lightyear!
In my spare time, you can find me attached at the hip with my almost-2-year-old pandemic pup, reading a good book, trying out a new recipe, and tending to my ever-growing plant collection. Pre-pandemic, I was a pretty avid traveler (with over 25 countries under my belt) and I’m hoping I’ll be able to get back to that soon.
