Account Executive - US

Remote, based in the United States


Lightyear Health is looking for a mission-driven Account Executive to develop and execute sales & closing strategies to convert prospective skilled nursing facility clients. You’ll develop relationships with nursing facility operators whose residents could benefit from our services. This person will make a meaningful impact on the lives of the elderly who live in nursing facilities, and will play an integral role in helping drive the company’s mission of improving geriatric care by expanding our reach. Lightyear Health leverages technology, data-driven care models and medical expertise to deliver accessible, proactive specialty care to seniors so they can live a life of dignity, fullness, and joy, for longer.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Engage nursing facility leaders to learn how our specialty services can help improve the health of their residents
  • Develop, implement, and execute effective sales strategies to get prospects excited about our offerings
  • Collaborate with the medical staff at skilled nursing facilities to help the client get a better understanding of the speciality services we provide (pain medicine & rehabilitation and behavioral health services)
  • Close prospects by strategically tailoring solutions for clients that address their challenges and needs
  • Partner with our post-sales team to ensure clients are properly onboarded and implemented into Lightyear Health’s systems and services

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Proven track record of managing health care sales from prospect outreach to closed deal. Experience with lead generation would be a plus.
  • Ability to strategically tailor discovery & closing strategies based on prospect’s needs and challenges
  • Healthcare knowledge and ability to intellectually speak with healthcare professionals
  • Possesses the empathic ability to connect with prospects and has the ability to approach sales pitches through the eyes of the prospect
  • Ability to connect with and influence the right people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Anticipated Salary Range

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn around $90,000 USD annually. This individual will also be eligible for additional on-target-earnings up to $60,000. All team members also receive a stock option grant. The exact salary will depend on (1) how many years of relevant and transferable experience the candidate brings to the role and (2) the internal level at which the candidate is hired in relation to our career development framework.
