Compliance Manager

Lightyear Health is looking for a healthcare Compliance Manager to support the Legal and Compliance Department in a multi-state environment. It is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to investigate and manage compliance issues and help build and refine our Compliance Program. 

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Manage complex projects across the legal and compliance functions including but not limited to those related to HIPAA, CMS and payor requirements and audits 
  • Build out replicable processes to manage cross functional workflows and organize and maintain corporate documents and filings
  • Investigate potential incidents of non compliance, review incident data and carry out root cause analysis to ascertain the cause
  • Support, develop and update compliance documents including but not limited to risk assessment, Compliance Program, Code of Conduct and policies and procedures 
  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal teams by providing answers, information and guidance on compliance-related issues regarding the services of the company, in accordance with regulations
  • Conduct research to provide appropriate compliance recommendations, advise on upcoming regulations, and evaluations of the overall impact on the business in a multi-state environment 

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • 5+ years experience working with healthcare compliance program documents, policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, CMS compliance, HIPAA and CCPA
  • Appetite and previous track record building processes and refining compliance programs
  • Understanding of how to manage the healthcare compliance audit process
  • Experience researching and interpreting healthcare laws and regulations
  • A strong track record in supporting cross functional teams, ideally in a clinical setting, on rules and regulations, policies and compliance issues
  • Experience working with legal documents, third party payors, regulators and auditors a plus

Anticipated Salary Range

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $100K and $120K USD annually. The exact salary will depend on (1) how many years of relevant and transferable experience the candidate brings to the role and (2) the internal level at which the candidate is hired in relation to our career development framework. All team members receive a stock option grant.
