I love thinking about decisions. What makes one better than the other? What do people use to make them?
As a data scientist at Lightyear Health, I spend a lot of time structuring data so that we can get extra value out of it. I try to think about the question I’m currently answering and the future questions we may need to answer that will need similar data.
Despite the fact that my career started in labor economics and then enterprise technology I’ve now been in health care for over five years. I enjoy the challenge of putting health care data together to synthesize an understanding of what is going on for patients.
Beyond work, I have two little girls and they keep me busy taking them to their various sporting activities. My hobbies are reading about history and social science, as well as staying up too late to watch west coast baseball.
