I joined the Lightyear Health team because I feel that this population of patients has so much knowledge and experience and are often overlooked in medicine. I find that most people just need to be heard and enjoy the interaction they can have with their healthcare professional.
As a PM&R Physician’s Assistant (PA) at Lightyear Health, I treat individuals with functional impairments and those who are experiencing chronic pain. I have a strong focus on fall prevention, as this is the leading cause of hospitalization in this population. Our overall goal is to improve each person’s quality of life. Treatments I offer include medication management, physical therapy or interventions such as joint or trigger point injections.
I have almost four years of experience working in Internal Medicine/Primary Care. In addition to a rotation in Orthopedics, my previous role involved administering joint injections regularly.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family. We love rock climbing, paddleboarding and traveling.
